Facilitated and led by experienced members of the CCHT staff, we offer a wide range of proprietary services to prevent future abuse and exploitation as well as nurture healing.
Much of our direct service programming is offered to our local community at no cost. This includes all Lotus Prevention for ProsperityTM programming in local education, faith, and direct-service settings; as well as all Lotus Pathway to ProsperityTM programming including advocacy, Sisters Saving OurselvesTM Survivor Group, and our Wichita State Survivor Scholarship/paid Survivor-Leader Internship opportunities.
Examples of our direct service include:
- Lotus Prevention for ProsperityTM – a primary and secondary prevention program for elementary, middle and high school-aged youth known as P4P: ThriveTM. The P4P: ThriveTM curriculum aims to increase young people’s ability to practice healthy relationships, develop an age-appropriate understanding of abuse and exploitation (particularly in the form of human trafficking), inform young people of potential multidisciplinary resources in the community and provide an opportunity for them to demonstrate their own ability to combat abuse and exploitation.
- Lotus Victim to VitalityTM Model – a tertiary prevention and intervention model for youth who are either at risk or have already been subjugated to human trafficking.
Lotus Pathway to ProsperityTM – designed for survivors of human trafficking by survivors of human trafficking, this is a program intended to help survivors of sex and labor trafficking reclaim their lives, become self-sufficient and use their unique experiences to help fight trafficking. P2P includes a Survivor-Overcomer Group curriculum that, reflecting the Lotus Anti-Trafficking ModelTM 8 Life Dimensions, aims to assist in empowering each individual’s ability to develop holistic health and prosperity; and explore their own potential leanings, gifts, talents, interests, and passions.
